Au\u00dferdem wollten wir eine andere Art des Wirtschaftens praktizieren: selbstbestimmt, umsatzunabh\u00e4ngig und fair auch gegen\u00fcber den Erzeugern.<\/p>\n<p>Dazu wurde ein gemeinn\u00fctziger Verein gegr\u00fcndet, der mittlerweile etwa 700 Mitglieder in und um Stuttgart hat.<\/p>\n<p>Zur Zeit gibt es zwei eigenst\u00e4ndige L\u00e4den, die nicht mehr vom Verein gef\u00fchrt werden, sondern jeweils eigene Unternehmergesellschaften (UG) sind, die dem Verein geh\u00f6ren. Mittels einer speziellen UG-Satzung wird das Recht der Mitglieder auf Mitbestimmung sichergestellt.<\/p>\n<p>Bis 2013 war plattsalat west ein reiner Mitgliederladen, jetzt sind alle plattsalat L\u00e4den auch offen f\u00fcr Nichtmitglieder. Nicht-Mitglieder kaufen zu &#8222;normalen&#8220; Bioladenpreisen ein, Mitglieder bezahlen die g\u00fcnstigeren Mitgliederpreise.<\/p>\n<p>Der Verein k\u00fcmmert sich um die F\u00f6rderung von regionalem Bioanbau und fairen Handelsbedingungen, wir machen Verbraucherberatung, halten Kochkurse und wir f\u00fchren viele Veranstaltungen zu Themen rund um Bioanbau, Verarbeitung, Vermarktung und Ern\u00e4hrung durch.<\/p>\n<p>In Kurzform k\u00f6nnt Ihr hier nachschauen, was wir 2008 zu plattsalat &#8211; damals noch im alten Laden in der Bismarckstrasse &#8211; zu sagen hatten:<\/p>\n<div
